Strawberries top the "Dirty Dozen" list yet again according to the Environmental Working Group (EWG). This list is published each year to rank popular fruit and vegetables based on their pesticide contamination. They found that conventional, non organic strawberries were found to have an astounding 22 pesticide residues. EWG emphasises studies show that pesticides in high concentration can lead to health problems, especially in young children.
