Children’s food intolerances are caused by a chemical reaction and symptoms are usually limited to digestive problems. They do not involve your children’s immune system and don’t cause the severe allergic reaction of children’s anaphylaxis. With children’s food intolerances, small amounts of the offending food can still be an irritant to the gut lining, and can often be tolerated without causing symptoms.
