Coconut Yoghurt

Yoghurt is often marketed as a healthy food, however, the sugar and flavourings added to many yoghurts can make them more like a junk food. Dairy-free yoghurts such as coconut yoghurt have become popular because they are plant-based. These are ideal choices for vegans and children with lactose intolerance.

Coconut Cream Benefits Kids Health

Coconut cream has a distinct, coconut-like flavour with a rich, thick and creamy texture that makes it a great addition to a range of recipes, including soups, smoothies, and desserts. It is a great addition to boost the taste of smoothies, soups, sauces, curries and pasta sauce.

Its subtle flavour, gives a tasty twist to desserts too such as cookies, cakes and puddings plus dairy-free ice cream.

Allergies

Allergic reactions to coconuts is uncommon. However, if your child is allergic to tree nuts such as almonds, cashews, pecan or walnuts they may also react to coconuts and coconut products such as coconut cream.

Therefore, if your child experiences symptoms of allergic reactions after consuming coconut or coconut cream, discontinue use immediately and seek advice from your healthcare professional.
