Oaty Chocolate Biscuits

Try these delicious gluten-free biscuits your child will love.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cup oats
  • 3/4 cup almond meal
  • 5 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil (melted)
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (390°F).
  2. Place the oats into a food processor and pulse to form a flour-like consistency.
  3. Add the ground almonds, maple syrup, vanilla and coconut oil. Pulse again and you may need to add up to 2 teaspoons of cold water until the mixture forms a doughy consistency.
  4. Roll the mixture into balls using a tablespoon as a measuring tool and press down with the back of a folk. Place the biscuits onto a trays lined with baking paper (leave plenty of room between them).
  5. Bake for 10–15 minutes until golden and allow to cool completely on the tray.
