Chicken is a great way to incorporate more protein into your healthy baby’s diet. Use pureed poached meat and as your healthy baby gets better at
chewing, move to small bite sized pieces. Avoid any tough or stringy cuts of meat as these might be too difficult for your baby to chew or swallow.
Chicken contains many nutrients that babies need to thrive, including vitamins B6 and B12, iron, zinc, choline, selenium, and vitamin B3. Together, these nutrients help support antioxidant activities, fuel cell energy, create healthy blood, promote a strong sense of taste and smell, and boost brain health.
